We are early intervention specialists!

A star shines and sparkles in the sky – and each star is unique in its own way. To us, every child is a Rising Star. Rising Stars of Rockland is committed to unlocking each child’s potential through the crucial process of early intervention.

 

We specialize in providing one on one therapy that works, in a location, such as your home, where your child feels most comfortable. We emphasize each child’s strengths, and we identify the areas that need improvement so that he/she can be the star that twinkles so brightly and reaches to great heights. Our only goal is to help your child to maximize his or her developmental potential, as indicated by our evaluation.


Our services are fully funded and regulated by the New York State Department of Health and in Rockland County, by the Rockland County Department of Health. There is no charge to the family for the evaluation or any of the resulting services.

 
The New York State Department of Health believes that the early years of a child¹s life are very important. Some children and families face special challenges and need extra help. Early help does make a difference.
 
The first step in our process is for parents to review and complete our comprehensive Developmental Checklist, which allows us to focus on the specific developmental needs of each child.

 
The effects on the children that Rising Stars services have been remarkable, as they flourish from the expanded techniques that their Rising Stars therapists apply during therapy.
